| Description | i have been having this happen alot now in my 7 year fort with alot of items laying around and stone wood etc, i have a very nice booming food industry going and i have noticed that even with other hauling jobs turned off the dwarves are more worried about going and grabbing a piece of clothing than hauling my food to the proper stockpiles, i am using the no barrel stockpile trick to keep them from hauling my barrels all over the map but what i was wondering is there a way to move food hauling as a high priority haul without disabling the other haul jobs? i would still like my other stockpiles to be filled but if any food needs to be hauled i would prefer that to be hauled first | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | butcher several animals at once or buy a large quantity of food from caravan have other items need to be hauled as well watch as the food you just bought sits and rots as dwarves worry about picking up equipment or hauling wood stone etc | ||||

You can't set job priorities, but it is a planned feature. At any rate, if you have questions about DF, you should ask them in the gameplay question subforum before opening a new bug report. |
