| Description | I set a one-man archery squad. I give him order to Kill and he does. After some time if a foreign bolts appear and the archer equips them, he stops using the wooden bolts anymore. The ammo material is set to "any material". Changing the ammo material has no effect. | ||||

I read in the wiki we can "put" things in a quiver. Cant find the command tho. looks like every marksdwarf has different set of a quiver and a crossbow for every occasion - hunting and training. Can I order him to use specific crossbow or quiver? |

The wiki might have been talking about adventure mode, where you can indeed put things in quivers. In dwarf mode you have to let the dwarves do it. |

Sounds like 0004530. It happens with any metal ammo not only foreign items. Once they grab metal bolts, they won't drop them to use wooden ones, until they use all bolts they have. |
