Summary0006522: Trade depot "deconstructs itself" after trading
DescriptionSo there was a point in time in Dwarf Fortress that when you deconstruct the trade depot while the traders/merchants are still there, the items would be dropped and you would keep the items (yay!).

Though deconstructing to get the items does not work anymore, I've recently been encountering this... I would trade gems for a couple of items. The trade is successful and so, like always, I would recall my gems/items used for trade to be placed back in the stockpile. Upon exiting the [g] Move goods menu, the trade depot would occasionally deconstruct itself.

Though I do get free stuff, hyuk hyuk, I do also feel a little guilty doing this because it seems cheap. This happens every other trade that I do.
Steps To Reproduce1. Move objects to the trade depot to trade.
2. Trade with the merchants
3. Move your remaining objects back
4. Voila, auto-deconstructing trade depot

- Has been happening in the past few days
- Never ordered the dwarves to deconstruct the depot
  - I have to reconstruct the depot every time it breaks
- Merchants do not seem to "reclaim" their items

Examine the items left on the ground at the trade depot's former location - do any of them have "XdamageX"?

1. It may help to post a save file.
2. What is the trade depot made from? Does that material take damage or change state outside (i.e. Ice)?

No mods are being used at the current moment.

I used larch for my Trade Depot. Yes there was ice. Question, could ice actually... break things?

Korywon, if any tile of the depot was on a pond or water feature that was frozen and then melted, it would deconstruct the depot.
