| Description | Crashed when double clicked dwarf fortress.exe after a few seconds before the main menu showed up. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Double click Dwarf Fortress.exe Left Click inside the window while the game is starting up out of excitement a few times. Say Hehee when the app crashes so early. | ||||

I just had the game lock up and crash when I left the main menu running for a while while doing other stuff, browsing reddit etc. I'm on windows 7,64 Bit and the system seems stable enough for everything else (except flash causes my browsers to lock up all the time). Haven't had a chance to see if it's reproducable. Crashed again a few seconds after starting, Immediately when i moved the window. I imagine it might have something to do with the animation. |

There have been many crash fixes in the 40.xx series of releases, and since this is rather unspecific in nature, I'm going to resolve it. If it can be found to be OS specific or some other reason that isn't covered by another report, please PM a manager on the forums to reopen it. |
