I also experienced this issue, on repeated attempts of generating a second character after using the Finish Game function the game would always crash on the Updating World screen, however it successfully generated to an embark on fortress mode provided i didn't alt tab or move the mouse from the game window during this generation. This is on Windows 7. Interestingly my error log relayed the following. camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever ... Repeating 72 times. |

I have a similar issue on Vista. It only repeats 62 times, but ends with camp order missing parent -- army will camp forever Miner destination wiped http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=8842 I hope that worked okay, I've never posted to the site before. |
