Summary | 0000662: Cancels cut gem: needs rough gem (gem exists)
Description | I assigned jewelery duty to someone with no skill in it and he built a jeweler's workshop. He then stood around in the workshop with no job. I asked him to cut gems that definitely exist (they are highlighted for 'C' in the jewel menu, and are sitting in the bin next to him-- crysoprase, if it matters) and he just immediately spams job cancellations for lack of rough gems. I tried this with a dozen different gems that I have in the rough and he canceled them all, including after a save/quit/restart.
Steps To Reproduce | Commission the cutting of raw gems

Update: Got a migrant with jeweler skills and he got to work. Apparently the issue is with newly-assigned jewelers? |
|
Might have been a pathing problem, where the paths to mined-out gems didn't get updated until the migrant jeweler arrived. The next time this happens, try saving and restarting the game to see if that fixes the problem. |
|
I did save and restart, but after looking around I realized it was a pathing issue anyway, could someone please close this bug as RESOLVED :) |
