Summary0006671: Dwarves stuck on ramps.
DescriptionDwarves in a reclaimed site take ramps down several levels and get stuck. Miners were trapped down there and appear to have starved to death on level 126. Other dwarves refuse to travel to the level to collect goods/stone.
Steps To ReproducePurchased a new pick from the caravan, made a new dwarf a miner. Dug new ramps to get down to the same level because he wouldn't use the old one. He dug down to where the dead bodies were, went back up to 125, and is stuck there starving to death.

Attempted to get other dwarves to build, smooth, collect, and dump from 125 to no avail.
Additional InformationRecruited new miner into the military to try and get him to return to the surface, but his location is listed as unreachable.

Surface is on 135, so this is ten levels below ground.

Please upload a save that demonstrates the problem to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ and post the link here.

Wasn't sure what to save, so I just zipped up the whole region folder.

It could just be ramp wonkiness now that I think about it, but it doesn't explain the pools of blood...

Ramp wonkiness sounds about right. Looking at your save, it looks like when you got to the marble layer, you mined out underneath a ramp leading back up in your haste to get at the stone, so that neither ramp leading up from floor 125 is next to a wall with a floor above (see http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Ramp for info on ramps). This would of course trap anyone who managed to get down to 125. The blood is a mere spattering, not pools, which could have been produced by the one-story drop from 126.

(And, yes, the region folder is what's meant by "a save.")

Thanks, JasonMel. Eildath, please reopen this if JasonMel's comment doesn't explain things.
