| Description | I was fortunate enough (or unfortunate enough) to save my game shortly before a crash was about to occur. This is still early on in the save, no more than two seasons. I've tried adjusting my dwarves current tasks but nothing seems to affect the crash so I can only conclude it's related to an uncontrollable event like a season change or a migrant wave. Downloaded and reproduced crash. Exception code:c0000094 Google-fu tells me this is a DIVIDE_BY_ZERO exception. Lemunde: Next time please upload the save file to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ Other hosting is seen as unreliable |

Reproduced with a different save. Hyperlink: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=8790 region1 - 27th of Malachite (mid-summer). Exhibits bug. Will crash about 10 seconds after loading, with terminal message: "./df: line 6: 26566 Floating point exception./libs/Dwarf_Fortress $*" region1-sum-5 - Seasonal autosave made before region1. Can be played all the way until Autumn, no crashes. region1-sum-5-aut-5 - The autumn seasonal autosave, made by loading region1-sum-5. No crashes. In the bugged save, more work was done: more stockpiles, pastured the yaks, built some workshops. Not sure if its relevant. |
