Summary | 0006810: AI almost never reacting to being attacked from stealth.
Description | Most of the time you can come up to people from behind and start punching them to death with your bare hands and they either won't react entirely or start an alert like they are suspicious that something is not right.
Steps To Reproduce | Come up to somebody from behind in stealth>punch them> they won't retaliate.
Additional Information | The most glaring example would be Me coming up to forest titan from behind and chopping him with my axe while he didn't even move or turn to me until he bled to death(and it took really long), my character even passed out from exhaustion with no harm.

I've noticed this too, the only way they notice you is if you get directly into their line of sight. |
|
This is probably related to their overly-passive nature. |

Still present in 40.09 I'm in a human village sneaking around and killing people, (press a to see the combat log) It's night, so even without any skill whatsoever, my stealth is great, and there is no response at all, it could of course be related to morale problems instead. Anyhow, I think that openly attacking anyone should lead to the player being spotted, unless he is extremely legendary. Here is the save game: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9454 |
