Summary0000685: Cannot smelt Bismuth Bronze (normal smelter)
DescriptionJob to smelt Bismuth Bronze ignores bismuth bars, and produces bronze.
Steps To ReproduceTake copper, tin, and bismuth bars on embark.
Build wood furnace and smelter.
Burn wagon for charcoal.
Smelt Bismuth Bronze bars.

Notice dwarf taking only 1 tin and 2 copper to the smelter, producing 4 bronze bars and ignoring bismuth bars.
Additional InformationBismuth bars are never brought to the smelter. Job was performed above ground in a normal smelter, with charcoal, and with bars directly from wagon.

Other reactions involving 3 or more metal bar types have not been tested for this phenomenon.

making bismuth bronze consumes 4 appropriate bars as expected with a _magma_ smelter. Strange that normal smelter would behave differently.

I'm fairly certain I've managed to make bismuth bronze at a normal smelter.

Any chance of getting a save that reproduces this bug?

Well, gentlemen, I may have to set this one down to player error. It certainly isn't reproducing for me now.

It happened twice in .31.01, and I can't get it to reproduce now. This leads me to think it was either system-specific or simple player error. It's even possible I was stupid enough to open the smelter, read "Make bismuth bronze bars (a)" and hit {a}, causing the first thing labeled {a} to be made.

I chock this one up to my own incompetence and faulty memory. If I'm wrong, then at the very most it is a very rare, unlikely-to-reproduce bug.

Okay, I'll go ahead and close it then. There's a small chance it was related to 0000219, but that seems to only happen on Wine, and the resulting material mixups are more flagrantly wrong.
