DescriptionWhenever I create a world, larger than pocket, Goblins will only interact with those within 2 squares.

The goblins, will not show up unless the fortress is 2 squares away from the embarkation point.

Running game with 1 custom entity and 9 (1 entity member + 8 non) custom creatures.

It seems to happen 2/3 times, one can recreate the same world.

Had this occur in unmodded 40.01 as well, don't know how to reproduce it reliably.

Goblins do not show up as neighbours in the embark screen (despite being present and having lots of sites), only in locations 2 squares on the world map away from their sites.

It happened in 2 worlds I generated, but not in the others (10 worlds overall). Both worlds are Small Regions, there is nothing unusual with the Goblins in Legends mode, and geographically there is no reason why they shouldn't have access to the rest of the world.
I didn't test if this actually affects Fort Mode gameplay.

Wasn't able to reproduce it in 40.02 so far, will keep an eye on it.

Possibly related to 0007015, where there seems to be an issue with the neighbours display in the embark screen.

This doesn't appear to be the case any longer in 40.04. Goblins are shown at expected distances (no longer just 2 tiles).

Anyone still having this issue?

Haven't seen anything about it in the forums and it seems it was just a few people that had the problem in the first place.
I haven't seen it since the two saves I posted, but then it didn't seem to happen very often and I have not generated many worlds in 40.04 yet.
