| Summary | 0006959: Game runs one cpu core at maximum load, even when in Pause mode | ||||
| Description | No matter, if you pause the game or let it run, it always churns up one core, whereas it should conserve cpu cycles when a Pause mode is activated. This will save actual Earth Trees, yes.. yes, no, i'm not a treefairy. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Pause a game, watch htop/gkrellm/top/whatever you use to view your cpu load | ||||

This is not a bug, but you may be able to change the behavior by tweaking PRINT_MODE or other init settings: http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/v0.31:Technical_tricks#Video_Card_Options |
