Description | In 0.40.02, glaciers will only form if the biome is good or evil. Otherwise everything will only be arctic oceans, even though the conditions are right for glaciers. I've tried this twice, once with a medium world and once with a large world. | ||||
Additional Information | When trying to embark on a glacier, you'll get a warning that there's saltwater present, even if no square of the embark area includes the ocean. | ||||

Cannot reproduce - I've successfully generated both MEDIUM REGION and MEDIUM ISLAND worlds with neutral glaciers. Glaciers in general are significantly less common in ISLAND worlds, which are always used when using the "Create New World!" command; consider using "Design New World with Advanced Parameters" and selecting a REGION type, then customizing the other properties accordingly. |
