Summary | 0007193: Endless hostages at evil fort
Description | It all started when I went around town asking people about things I could help them with, they informed me that two people were kidnapped and both taken by the same group. So after asking around for directions and writing down the names I set off to go on a rescue mission, I manage to find the evil fort, sneak in past an Ogre and a few patroling trolls. Down to the basement part of the fort, upon entering I encounter a few goblins and tunnels and lots of locked doors, I kill two goblins I see after I sneak up behind one and body slam him a few times and then ask him to yield. After he yields I ask about the location of one of the kidnap victims, he tells me hes somewhere in here, so I slit his throat and proceed to kick down all the locked doors.. To my disbleief, nearly all the doors held a prisoner and when I rescued them they were all children. Nameless children, named 'child' I was never able to learn their actual names. I am pretty sure there were around 30-50 of them - I exited and left it alone.
Steps To Reproduce | I have the save file in which if I knew how to uphold I would. But basiclly, ask around about people who were kidnapped, go to the place, look for prisoners and rescue them, they all become children.
Additional Information | Only replicated this once

I might be missing something, but it's expected that goblins kidnap lots of children. That's what they do. What part is weird? |
I am aware of that - however are they all supposed to be clones of eachother with only name "child" even when you talk to them? |
I think this might be purposed, as they lose their former identity and become members of the goblin civ, or I am wrong? |
Not to mention, or maybe I didn't look hard enough through the herd of children, I couldn't find the actual kidnap victims who I assumed were adults around anywhere. This is where I assumed it became a bug, what if ALL the prisoners anywhere become children - how can you complete kidnap objectives and other similiar things if the prisoners have no names and are all just simple childs? |
Goblins kidnap children so they can raise them in their own ways, they don't kidnap adults afaik. Only if they then grow up on the goblin fort they become "Prisoner". |
