| Summary | 0007197: Dwarf mode slows to a halt, then crashes. | ||||
| Description | Everytime the game loads, it runs perfectly. After a certain period, the dwarves suddenly slow to a halt. Once halted the game crashes. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Download http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=8930 Load save. Wait about 10 seconds. | ||||
| Additional Information | The save used to be longer, but I shortened it until just before the crash. I warded everyone to one location, however a fisherman did not move, as well as a dwarf making a bin. I added them to a squad and stationed them. That seemed to fix it, temporarily. Crash happened again after a short time. Upon reproducing that, stopping the activities of the dwarves only delayed it. Perhaps it comes from item generation? My fort does contain many items. I attempted to hide/forbid everything. Had no effect. Seems making the dwarves do other things helps, but again, only temporarily, might be just randomness in the reload. | ||||

Since save compatibility has been broken since then, it's hard to know if this is one of the crashes that was already fixed. |
