Summary0007212: Titan shrines collapse upon first arriving at site
DescriptionI traveled to a Titan shrine to find, and kill, the monster that lived there.

When I arrived at the site, there was a cloud of smoke and the message "You are caught in boiling magma!" I didn't really know if the Titan might be able to do things like that, so I didn't think much of it. I looked around gingerly, waiting to be ambushed at any moment, but the Titan was nowhere to be found. Finally, I asked my companion about it, and he helpfully informed me that the Titan had been killed by a cave-in.

I knew that didn't sound quite right, so we went off to another shrine, and sure enough, as soon as I arrived at the site there was a cave-in, and again, no titan to be found. I did find the ashes of several body parts, and my companion informed me that the titan had been killed by a flying object.
Steps To ReproduceGo to Titan shrine.

Embarked on a shrine (custom-genning a world with lots of titans and no civilizations helps) and had the chance to examine first-hand what the place looks like before reality ensues.

Every single pillar visible was hovering in midair, by a single z-level gap in between.

If it's in any way helpful, the bottom z-level of each pillar was made of one material (sandstone, same as the floor tiles) while the rest of each pillar was made of something else (gneiss, in this case).

Will need to do this test on more shrines to see if I get consistent results.

EDIT: Second shrine has only left me more confused. 5 out of 25 pillars genned on the ground this time. All of them were gabbro on z-level 2 (same as the floor), then basalt from levels 3 and up. Of the pillars that started grounded, they were all gabbro on z-level 1 as well. Any idea if this multi-material pillar issue is how they USED to be, or is this a new anomaly as well?

Wow, that was ugly. Must have really screwed that up when I added the big trees. Should be fixed for 0.40.17.
