| Summary | 0007259: Tracking crash | ||||
| Description | I was tracking a hydra, and then turned on tracking. The game seemed to move slower and slower until the game crashed while tracking this hydra for a fair bit of time. Memory leak or something due to tracks building up in memory? My character died, so it is hard to produce a save, I'm hoping someone else has run into this problem and can produce a save. | ||||

I may have had similar problems. Lately I have experienced a lot of crashes in adventure mode. Since I was using DF Starter pack, I was blaming non-vanilla stuff to cause the crashes (e.g. DF Hack, tilesets, etc.). Then I realized that the game crashed mostly (maybe always) after I enabled tracks and entered fast travel (sometimes after 5 minutes of playing). Without enabling tracking I did not have any more crashes (but only played 2 or 3 hours since then). |
