| Summary | 0007333: Counter productive stockpile handling : keep canceling job requiring item hauled | ||||
| Description | When trying to start clothes industry, I've encountered many job canceled because of hauling : - crop is ready : farmer take bin to put crop inside => Cancel Process plants. - plant processed : hauling to put thread in bin (5 squares away) => cancel Weave thread. - plant weaved : hauling, cancel Make cloth, etc... Because of timing, jobs keeps being canceled as if the stock were empty instead of being hauled. In the same time, farming is currently slower because of the mono-crop handling : When crop is mature : dwarf farmer come, harvest the crop, then go take the bin/bag to store this crop, return the bin/bag to stockpile and loop, walk to crop, harvest, walk, take bag, walk, put crop, walk, drop bag, walk, etc. Instead of harvest many crop at once. (on a plus note, the farmers have all hauling jobs disabled but are the one hauling plants from farm plot to stockpile, I don't remember if it was the normal way of acting) | ||||
