Summary0007334: Random tiredness in adventure mode
DescriptionI am playing .40.02 right now, and have found my character is randomly switching between Tired and fine (Not sleepy or even Drowsy). I have not seen this bug on other characters, but have not played adventure mode more than 3 times in 40.02. This bug only causes issues with spontaneous collapses from "Over-exertion" which allows me to stand right back up, not even drowsy.
Additional InformationI assume reproducibility refers to other saves, other characters, and so put "Have not tried", because I can't remember ever having an issue with it before, and it's only shown up on this one save, this one character.

Is your [S]tride set to "Walk"?

Tired and Drowsy are two completely different status effects - the former results from exertion and makes you collapse and/or pass out (and is reduced by not performing strenuous tasks), while the latter results from staying awake (and is reduced by sleeping).

It sounds like you're getting tired from walking around too much.

I've had the same thing happen, but it's not a bug. I can explain it very easily.

When you move faster than walking (above 1.0), your tiredness level increases. When you hit "tired", your speed is cut by a preset amount, and if your speed for that gait/pace is at or below 1.0 at that point, eventually you'll stop being tired.

It'll cause a loop effect exactly like the one Madman is noticing. Madman - hit shift-s and use the arrow keys - see what you have selected. It's probably "jog".

Yep, I think it is set to jog.
Thank you.
