| Description | There are a number of rough gems lying about in the caverns of my reclaimed fortress. I'm not sure why they're there... it's almost as if the game thought they were spider web and placed them instead. This is a twice-reclaimed worldgen fort. | ||||

Nay, I didn't even get a chance to mine any gems - I got splattered soon after arriving. Actually, these gems (pink garnets) are ONLY scattered about in the cavern layer where the pink garnets naturally generate - except they're just lying around, and not actually in the stone. Pre-mined, if you will. |

Yes, there are no tribesmen on this site. Even if I didn't know - there are pink garnets [only]. I'll be totally honest - if this had been an addition of some sort, like the previous inhabitants leaving remnants of their old mining jobs, I'd love it - gives a sense of history to the site. But... I know it's not, and that this isn't supposed to be happening. edit: also, as I said before, they're only in that one cavern layer. None aboveground or anywhere else in the fort. It's as if the game put them in as rough gems rather than minable stone... or scattered them about like spiderwebs. It's a bit odd. |

Check that compressed file, I got corruption when I expanded it. |

I'm having difficulty uploading an uncorrupted version - DFFD seems to be corrupting it. :\ will post back when I get it figured out. |
