DescriptionSituation: Cannot engrave memorial for invading dwarf (now ghostdwarf)
* Two hostile dwarfs came with a few goblins during a siege.
* When killed, they were not automatically moved to the bone-pile. To do this I had to "dump them" to get them away from my entrance.
* After a few months a ghostly bowdwarf emerged from one of them.
* His name does not appear on the engrave memorial list

I am now considering destroying the remains with an atomic smasher - am in doubt if it will work. The ghostdwarf is blocking my entrance scaring everybody away, which makes it hard to build a good defense.

 I had the same issue and coffins do not help. His corpse was in my corpse stockpile and I had extra activated coffins. The dwarves will not put him to rest.

Since there is no way that I know of to trap or destroy a ghost it ruined my fortress by preventing most tasks from being done.
