Summary | 0008027: Companions not helping to fight an undead dingo
Description | Save there : http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9404 I arrived recently on a lair location, and i'm fighting an undead Dingo. I came with 2 companions, that have been with me for a while. They're not afraid by the undead as they're not running away, but they're not trying to fight it, they just walk around it. The same as the undead completely ignore them and if i move so a companion is between the undead and me, the undead will walk around my ally. To add some hilarity to this bugged situation, one of my companion just said "Greeting" and told the undead creature his name, as you can see if you press "a" on that save.

The "passive wolves" report is closed to me, can't post or re-open it, so i'll post here that new example of broken relations with the AI : World generated in 40.10 My adventurer was starting to get low on food so i decided to hunt more, i found a pack of Giant Wren. Followed by my AI companions that has been followed me through half of the world, i stealth moved close enough to bash one with my crossbow (to save bolts). And there the AI of my ally goes into nonsense, instead of helping the hunt ... he decided to talk to one of the Giant Wren (that by the way were blind/deaf/unreacting to the Giant Wren i just killed very close to them, probably could count as another bug in my opinion) and greeted the creature ! save can be found here : http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9534 |

There were a few problems with your companions -- they didn't recognize the undead as undead, since it was historical, and they didn't want to jump into the fight anyway, since they failed their courage checks. I've added remedies to these problems for next time (and saw them kill the dingo a few times). |
