Summary | 0008140: Fire based Titan starts forest fire, massive lag from fire, falling trees, then Memory size Crash.
Description | Have a fortress that I am sealing up from a titan arriving when I don't have enough setup for traps and the like to kill it. The titan has fire based attacks and sets fire to the flora on the surface, with so many trees, it catches and becomes a wildfire that spreads out wildly across the map slowly. Having disabled the Cave Collapse re centering and pausing (getting 20x of these in a shot got very tedious), the game eventually crashes due to memory size reaching 2GB
Steps To Reproduce | Have heavily forested area, 5x5 embark site, when titan arrives, button up all dwarves inside and close entrances. Let fire based titan run wild setting fire to everything on the surface. Fire spreads.
Additional Information | The only addon used is Dwarf Therapist and Ironhand's graphical tile set. Also: Site is multiple embarkment site. Had some trouble settling due to alligators wandering up and eating all my dwarves before I could dig in properly. At the start, it is ~800MB ram usage, which slowly climbs up to 2GB due to spreading fire. Save file in question: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9504

Whoops. Thought it was major at first, should be minor. Another runaway ram usage bumping the 32-bit memory size limit. |
