| Summary | 0000844: Custom iron anvil reaction creates "rock" anvil. | ||||
| Description | I had a moody dwarf who wanted a forge and I was too impatient to wait for the upcoming human caravan. I edited the rose gold reaction in the reaction_smelter text in the region's save file to create an iron anvil out of 3 iron bars. When I got a dwarf to make this, it produced an anvil made of "rock" instead of iron. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Delete all but the [REACTION:] tag from an existing reaction 2.replace the reaction with: [NAME:cast iron anvil] [BUILDING:SMELTER:NONE] [REAGENT:A:450:BAR:NO_SUBTYPE:METAL:IRON] [PRODUCT:100:1:ANVIL:NO_SUBTYPE:METAL:ANVIL] [FUEL] [SKILL:SMELT] 3. have a dwarf cast an iron anvil at a magma smelter (I haven't tried this with a normal one) | ||||

Your reaction syntax is completely wrong. The reagent and product should both have INORGANIC:IRON rather than METAL:IRON or METAL:ANVIL (no idea how you came up with that last one). This tracker isn't for modding help, so if that doesn't get it working, ask about it in the DF Modding forum: http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?board=13.0 |
