Summary | 0008609: SEED-type tree growths are never gathered
Description | Almonds, macadamia nuts, acorns, etc. are growths defined using SEED materials. Herbalists never gather them in Fortress Mode - not off the ground, and not off the trees.
Steps To Reproduce | Start a fortress in a forest with almonds, macadamia nuts, acorns, whatever. Put a gathering zone around the tree and wait.
Additional Information | Adding [STOCKPILE_PLANT_GROWTH] to the raw of the seed didn't fix it. I've given it a workaround by putting an inedible 'fruit' around the seed representing the shell of the nut, and adding a hulling reaction to the farmer's workshop.

I would like to expand this report to also include feather tree eggs. |

Ahh! There we go. Been trying everything under the sun to get these to be gathered! My dwarves have never gathered any, and I was always wondering why... |

This seems to still be in effect in 42.01. |
