DescriptionSee title. Hitting X on an animal in the status menu does not flag the animal for gelding, nor can I flag them from the preferences screen.

What version was the world generated in? I believe that gelding is not available for worlds generated in versions earlier than the gelding update.

It was generated in the most recent version, 0.40.24.

If it helps, I'm using the MacNewbie Reborn pack for ease of launch.

Whatever mod you are using is using old raws - the geldable tag isn't present in that region's raws.

Older, even. It has GRAZER tags rather than STANDARD_GRAZER, and those GRAZER tags have the pre-40.13 values. You should alert whoever updates the graphics pack you're using that the raws are severely out of date.

Also, for future reference, saves should be as close to the problem as possible. In this case, I just had to fell a tree, build a Farmer's Workshop and give a dwarf the Gelding labor so that wasn't much of a problem, but in other cases it would be.
