| Description | If I select multiple dig zones, the miners will periodically go to one location, dig one square, then move to the second location, dig one square; then return to the first zone for another square. They will alternate zones, one square per zone, until both jobs are done. Did not have this issue in prior version 40.15 | ||||

I guess this is caused by combination of same priority areas designated and dwarves taking quite some time to pick next job sometimes. Do all those zones have the same (or even alternating) priority assigned? If you want to have some area done sooner than other one, use higher (lower number) priorities. |

If all of them are the same z level it could also have something to do with the top-left-orientation for miners. |
