Summary | 0008911: Manager Puts Tasks on Top of Other Tasks
Description | The job manager is replacing my manually scheduled jobs in terms of order, so if I set "make rock blocks" to repeat in a mason's workshop, then order 30 rock doors in the job manager, the rock doors will fill up the workshop and prevent the blocks from being made. This happens across all workshops of the same type so you can't isolate certain workshops from the manager's commands by setting something to repeat as you used to be able to. So one can't really make different things simultaneously from the same type of workshop if you have something ordered in the job manager that uses that workshop type.

If I understand the report correctly, this sounds like intended behavior. When a job set to repeat is completed, if the shop has other jobs queued then the repeat task will be placed at the bottom of the queue. As such, I would say that this is a suggestion/feature request to be able to exclude specific shops from manager's orders. |
If you want the workshop to not receive manager's orders, add your manually scheduled job 10 times on repeat. With whole queue full, it won't get new jobs from the manager. |
In the previous version the jobs would add to the bottom of the stack in all cases. |
I can't reproduce this. Are you certain that the repeat task isn't just cycling to the bottom of the list after completion? |
That might be it I guess. I guess it wasn't like that in the previous version so I thought of it like a bug. Is it intended behavior? |
Orders are iterated through. Repeat orders at the shop level will cycle to the bottom after each iteration. |
