Summary0008953: Kea kill fps
DescriptionWhile working on draining a flooded cavern, my fps suddenly dropped from the high nineties to well below one. At first, I thought this was related to the flowing water created by my pumps, but it had been working fine before. The game wasn't accepting input, so I had to pause it by using DFhack (quicksave worked, since I had pause on save turned on), whereupon my fps went back to normal. Looking at the unit list, the only abnormal thing I saw was that there were a bunch of kea that had just spawned; killing them in DFhack fixed the fps, so I am assuming this is related to pathfinding somehow.

That may indeed be the case.

I might also mention (as 0004838 brought it to mind) that there was a lot of sky on this map; it was on the side of a mountain, which I suppose would mean lots of space to path through for the kea.

Thanks, Afghani84, let's close this report as a duplicate of 0004838.
There is now another kea save posted by gchristopher there, confirming the connecting even more.
