| Description | The game will crash and have a Data Execution Prevention error pop up. This generally happens after the first year of the fortress. It typically runs fine until around summer although I have had it crash during early Fall. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Run the game doing typical fortress stuff until the game crashes. Will typically crash during the Summer before the human caravan arrives. | ||||

Are you using any modifications or graphic packs or just vanilla DF? Did this happen to several forts in given world or just one? Have you tried otehr worlds? |

This has happened on two worlds so far. Currently I am trying it with a world with different settings on world creation now to see if it is just a specific world type with the small world size being the one that has caused the crash. The game is just Vanilla, with the only change to the d_ini file being FPS being shown, pop max at 100, and embark size being 3x3 |

Standard procedure is to upload your saves to the DFFD: http://dffd.bay12games.com/ I just loaded up the save and I immediately see what seems to be causing the crash: You've got part of your ceiling designated over the branches of a persimmon tree, which is bug 0008719. |
