| Steps To Reproduce | Find a volcano in a heavily forested biome, dig a few holes into the magma pipe, watch trees not burn while the surrounding vegetation turn to ash. | ||||

I've encountered subterrainian trees growing in the magma beside a magma pool when I breached the cavern (0.40.24). |

It's definitely possible for trees to catch fire when their leaves are exposed to magma (at least in the arena) - I haven't investigated this much, but it's not an issue of trees being immune to magma, aside from 0008736. |
