Summary | 0009064: Camel humps seem to be immune to necrosis-inducing weather
Description | I had an elven caravan stop by through part of an evil biome that had clouds of eerie dust. These clouds caused extreme drowsiness and necrosis to every part of the body it touched. When one-humped and two-humped camels passed through them, every part of their bodies were affected by the necrosis except their humps, despite the humps being covered in the evil dust. These were pack animals used to carry goods.
Steps To Reproduce | It's hard to reproduce reliably but I hope to upload a save using tamed camels ordered from a caravan at some point. It might be possible to reproduce this using modding and custom syndromes under highly controlled circumstances.
Additional Information | No word on whether other animals with humps are affected the same way or if all syndromes in general don't affect humps.

I've attached a save file here: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11116 There is a single two-humped camel on the map and it's towards the southwest. It was caught in the evil dust cloud and its body is entirely covered with evil dust. Note that its body is rotting except for the front and rear hump. |
