| Description | including designations such as mining and engraving, carving out stairs/ramps/etc., building workshops, building constructions. Earlier I built a 4x4 up/down staircase through those z-levels and I built a few walls and a mason's shop, but now I can't do anything there. But the dwarves will gladly do anything in the other z-levels. Tested it by putting designations and workshop constructions in random spots around the problem z levels. X and Y axis seem to not matter. | ||||

Continued playing for a little while and suddenly some of the designations that were being ignored are now being dug. SO it seems to last less than a season |

Not a bug: you set "-cavern2" to be the current active civilian burrow, i.e. no civilian is allowed to leave (or perform jobs outside). This burrow specifically excludes the entire area of these z-levels apart from the staircase. Just re-set your alert to normal. |

Oh, I see. Forgot I had to expand the burrow as I dig out new stuff. Sorry for the waste of time and thanks for the help |
