Description | I am using the new DF 0.42.01. Generated a large world. When I select adventurer mode, the game crashes to the desktop. Tried over and over again, the furthest it gets is the 13th of the first month during updating, but it often crashes earlier. | ||||

Had the same issue on my other PC just now, repeated crashes on world update in adventure mode. This was a small world, with all the other settings at default. I'm having the same issue in Fortress mode -- I just genned a medium world with short history and all settings at default. I'm on Win 10 with an i5-5200U CPU and 8G of RAM. EDIT: I'm getting Exception code: 0xc0000005 in the system logs -- which appears to be an access violation for something. EDIT: This appears to be a duplicate of 0009129 |

Yes, sounds like 0009129, "Crash when calendar is advancing". So it should be fixed in 0.42.02. cpman, thanks for noting it. You can use "#" hash before issue number or "~" tilde before note number to make a link to it. |
