Observing the same thing on OSX for new version. |

Having the same issue. Dwarves only seem to equip armor if I specify a specific armor to wear. |

@Harold76 noticed the same, but they 1) only wear one piece of armor and ignore the other assigned pieces and 2) their weapon becomes "invisible" as in they pick up a sword, but it's not visible in their inventory at all even though zooming in to the specific sword from the Stocks screen will point right at the dwarf |

Can confirm with my fort as well. More than enough armor, refuse to wear it. I'll post the save and mess around with it some more later when I get back home. |

In my case, assigning full suits of armour to a squad via 'specific item' got them to equip a breastplate, mail shirt and greaves, but not the boots, gauntlets and helmet. Maybe a problem with the 'replace clothing' setting? |

I wanted to add that I can't find any common thing in my dwarfs for armor. They'll all equip a weapon (individual's choice) and shield (metal shield), but no armor unless it's set to specific pieces. Some of those will still equip nothing (despite the green check), some a few things (2x steel shirts, 1 greaves, spear and shield). One or two will do stranger things, like strap their weapon to the upper body and instead wield a book and shield. |

Confirm here as well. Assigning individual bits of armor to each soldier takes forever. |

The "replace clothing" not working properly seems like a likely cause for this bug indeed |
