Possibly intentional? Player can't do much about it though, at least till migrants selected by player is a feature. |

Just seems strange, why would the dwarf leave home if they would be emotionally distraught from being unable to see their parents? |

It's actually worse than that. I get a lot of these on my thin air generated dwarves, and they don't HAVE any family (unless it means they want to get a family, but they're not exactly working hard on their social connection bits either). Similarly, thin air dorfs who have not yet made any friends (or even passing acquaintances) miss their friends. |
