Summary0000923: Successful mood causes irrelevant skill increase.
DescriptionA dwarf with Bone Setting at 3 and Dyeing at 6 got a secretive mood and claimed a mason's workshop. He then produced a legendary statue (metal ore, leather), but instead of getting a boost in masonry he oddly became a legendary miner.

Mining used to be a mood skill that took a craftdwarf's shop, at the very least. It may be that it also took a mason's shop previously, or that its mood behavior has changed.

Did the dwarf have skill as a miner before?

//Did the dwarf have skill as a miner before?
Apparently, he had no other skills other than these two.

Even so, mining as a mood skill seems to be a bit... illogical.

As far as I know, it's common for a masonry-type mood to instead be a mining mood. Also, bone setting and dying are NOT eligible for moods - so if mining was his highest mood-eligible skill, even dabbling, then this is not a bug.

Warlord255 is correct AFAIK.
