| Description | I did a search on here to see if there was any mention of giant sponges being able to attack, but couldn't find anything. Sorry if this is a duplicate. It actually results in quite a bit of annoyance if you embark on a river though, and CAN result in dead dwarfs if the sponge happens to hit with its push attack. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Embark on river with giant sponges. Wait until anything comes close. Watch that something get owned. | ||||

Pretty sure this isn't a bug. Giant sponges being able to attack is pretty well-known. |

The reason giant sponges cannot be killed is the same reason they shouldn't be able to attack. They have no nervous system, muscles, tissues, or organs of any kind. A giant sponge would not be able to move, nor perceive any sort of attack or attacker, much less retaliate. |

This still falls more into the realm of a suggestion than an actual bug, though. EDIT: Also, with the pulping system, giant sponges [can] be killed now. |

Pretty sure push attacks are default for certain body types/limbless creatures. Make suggestions for changes on the suggestions forum. If this is not the case, please PM me on the forums. |
