| Description | One of my dwarves climbed a tree and died (0007959). I ordered a stairway built to retrieve the body; the up stair was completed normally, but the downstair in the tree above was never built. Upon inspection, I found the dwarf who took the construction job was stuck standing in the tile where the construction material was located, holding the material but not moving to the job site to build the stair. I was able to reproduce this problem in another game by ordering downstairs and up/down stairs be constructed on a tile containing "twigs" or "branches". | ||||

Sounds like a duplicate of 0006530, "Dwarves won't build stairs in trees (specifically leaves)" or at least a continuation of constructions vs trees war where previous battles were 0006551, "Constructing on trees causes them to vanish" and 0008719: "Building constructions over parts of trees crashes". |
