| Summary | 0009636: Still Age of Goblins despite there being three times as many humans and dwarves | ||||
| Description | I genned a world back in 40.24. The world went through a "Golden Age" and then turned into the "Age of Goblins"; currently it contains humans, dwarves, goblins, and kobolds (all the elves got killed off in the first few years). In the first few years of my fortress, I got some goblin sieges, but I don't get them anymore. Checking the "export population information" list in legends mode tells me that the (pocket) world has around 1000 humans, 1000 dwarves, 300 goblins and 100 kobolds. Despite that, the world is apparently still in the "Age of Goblins". | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Create a world with low number of beasts (so that it moves into the Age of <Race>). Play a fortress for a few years until you stop getting sieges. Check legends mode to see if the population numbers line up with what the Ages are supposed to be. | ||||

Update - genned a new world where I made an adventurer who went around killing megabeasts. Killed all the beasts of the world, then retired the adventurer. Looked in legends mode, and it's still "Age of Hydra and Mountain Titan" despite said hydra and mountain titan being dead. http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11938 |
