Summary0000974: Worldgen civs create LOTS of bridges, filling up half of the total worldgen events for a civ entry.
DescriptionBefore, a civ would maybe make 10 bridges for a road, but now they take up entire stretches of the civ events for a civ entry. Pretty damn annoying when looking through a civ for something and having to press PgDwn past what must be 50+ bridges.
Steps To ReproduceJust create a world and look at the civ entry of any medium-large civ (except for elves, which don't build roads).

To make a bug ID hyperlink, just put a # in front of the number, like this: 0000687.

The bridges in question are tiling over of pools of water for a civilisations roads. If you walk along a road you'll spot them as wooden rectangles along the road.

It's not a bug. They actually do exist.

That said, It would be cool to have the roads obliterate any small pools in their path rather than bridge them. Might save on space. But that would be a suggestion, not a bugfix.

Still happens in .08 .

At least the scrolling speed up helps.

Just saw some completely messed up bridges when looking around in adventure mode, which would explain why the legends spam the bridge building so much. This is 31.12

Given the current DevLog, this will most likely be fixed in the next version (after 31.25).

"Bridges that hopefully aren't as scary and tragic as what came previously (that is, placed over every murky pool going off into the sky with various breaks and weird ramps and trouble)."
