Summary | 0009769: Stone axes won't improve in quality
Description | Assembling stone axes won't generate better quality axes, no matter the quality of the reagents. Assembling various axes also won't generate a raise in quality Ex: (+bayberry wood helve+) + (-sharp- mudstone) = mudstone axe
Steps To Reproduce | 1.- Assemble Stone Axe
Additional Information | Save: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=12045 The task "Assemble Stone Axe" won't raise experience in any skill

This is due to the reaction not having any skill associated with it. Would be trivial to fix, assuming we can pick the most logical choice of skill. I would suggest stonecrafting as the most logical. |
|
Which skill is used to assemble instruments made of stone and wood parts? That would be the most logical choice. |
|
@Shonai_Dweller: According to the wiki, each instrument has a "main" part that determines the instrument's quality level and the skill used to craft it. @chaosvolt: Obsidian "rock short sword" made in fortress mode have both wooden handles and a stone blade and are made using the stonecrafter skill. Therefore, it would make sense, as you suggested, that stone axes should also be made using stonecrafting. |
