| Description | -Attempted both shift keys. -Attempted both ctrl keys. -All assigned keybindings for shift work, except for any of the movement keybindings [any arrows, any numpad entries]. -No assigned keybindings for ctrl work. -Ctrl and Shift keys NOT recognized when attempting to remap any keybindings. -Attempted in Vanilla DF, 7/22 version of Masterwork DF, and 7/12 version of LNP. Attempted on all available print:modes with the LNP. Attempted clean reinstall of dwarf fortress 43.03 with same effect. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Install any vanilla dwarf fortress after 42.06. Attempt shift-movement or usage of ctrl macros. Rinse, Repeat. | ||||
| Additional Information | -Keyboard Language: USA -All ctrl assigned keybindings work when assigned to alt. All shift-movement keybindings work when assigned to alt. -Both alt keys work. -Shift and ctrl keys work outside of dwarf fortress with no bugs. -All keys work perfectly fine on the 42.06 version of LNP. | ||||

Hmm, I have no such troubles, shift-movement and ctrl keys work fine, but I'm on Linux with a German keyboard, so it's not the best comparison. I noticed you didn't try the latest version, how is the situation with 0.43.05? |

Vanilla 43.05 Results: Shift-key movement does not work. All other shift-key bindings function correctly. Unable to rebind shift in key bindings menu. Ctrl key is completely nonresponsive. Shift and Ctrl keys are responsive outside of the game window and function normally. All shift and ctrl keybindings function normally when bound to alt. Result confirmed with a different keyboard. Vanilla 42.06, LNP 42.06, and Masterwork 34.11 all still function as intended. |
