Summary | 0009948: Dwarves stop taking jobs in "hauling" and "other" categories, because of beekeeping
Description | If one has many hives, with bees available on the map but no colonies currently spawned that can be moved into a hive, dwarves with the beekeeping labor enabled will simply stop taking hauling jobs and jobs in the "other" category. They will still do workshop jobs. This was gamebreaking for me until I figured out the correlation, and I have uploaded a save that demonstrates the problem. In the save, I have recently built 40 hives, of which only a few are filled from wild colonies. I've also designated floors to be built, and there are some pasture-animal jobs also waiting to be done. There are seed-moving jobs that ought to be done. The floor-building and pasturing will not occur, and the seeds will not budge, until you turn the beekeeping labor off. Turn it back on, and the dwarves stop working again. This functions if you do it to all dwarves, or if you leave one dwarf with beekeeping active; that one dwarf won't take hauling/"other" jobs as long as the beekeeping labor is active. I don't believe this bug occurs if a hive is built in a biome that doesn't spawn honey bee colonies.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Embark in a biome with honey bees. 2. Build more hives than there are wild colonies on the map. 3. Check the dwarves' jobs to see what they are (not) doing.
