Summary | 0009957: Breath attacks can be blocked even if the attacker is currently holding a body part in its mouth
Description | A dwarf with a shield in his hand can effectively block dragonfire even if the dragon is currently holding the dwarf's another limb in its mouth, which would require the rather improbable act of jamming the shield down the dragon's throat.
Steps To Reproduce | Go into arena. Create a dwarf with high skills, give him a shield and armor (so he survives biting). Create a dragon, take control of it, bite the dwarf in an arm or leg until you latch on, then breathe fire. Most times, the dragonfire will be blocked effortlessly as if it were thrown from some distance away.

"You see Urist, when you feed yourself to dragon, you will never fear the dragonfire, for shield is already lodged in gullet." In practice though, the fight will likely end when the dragon remembers it can shake the target around. |
|
Against a dwarf, yeah, but it was just an example; but a creature tough enough to survive being shook around by a dragon seems possible. |

True, does make for the most amusing example at least. XP |
