Summary0000010: Unrevealed underground civs/items/buildings/events show up in Stocks/Rooms, mess up wealth count, etc
DescriptionLooking at the stock screen under the meat category, it lists forbidden food items that were not brought by the starting wagon. Items such as 'preserved green devourer meat' are displayed that probably should not be.
Steps To ReproduceHave a bookkeeper begin to account for the fortress stocks. Open the 'z' fortress status screen and select 'Stocks'. Select the 'meat' category. Look over the list for items marked 'F'orbidden. Hit TAB to display the full list and select one of the forbidden items. Hit 'z'oom to the item - it will be nowhere near (far below) what your dwarves have access to.
Additional InformationI suspect the is like the old features that displayed dead animal bones and the like. I have not dug down there to see what this site entails. It is possibly spoiling a feature I didn't know was there.

I have also just seen the stock screen list all the caravan's goods as if they were mine. Anybody else?

Note: the caravan thing has been true for a while, since 40d at least. This also extends to anything in a 'city' within embark locations, although those are treated as -yours- Your dwarves can and will go collect them without dying if you unforbid the items


On Topic: This is still an issue as of .03. I have entries in my .03 gen for things i dont have access to: Spider silk, remains of dead things, the usual

I assumed as much. At least i found the topic.

As for .03, i've found items under the Z-levels explored. As things were mentioned in the wiki, i can already guess what it is that lies below. And from the video tutorials of the .03 version, i can already tell what it is.

Sure it was spoiling, but at least i get to know theres a lot of items below me once i brave the underground. And it seems i'll have to make a new stairwell to brave it, preventing npcs from deciding to rip my fortress apart.

I've found that when strange Meat Items appear on the list (IE: Preserved Crundle Brain), when I explore a cavern I will inevitably find it laying around near a group of humanoids. Cave Swallowmen seem to like Preserved Crundle parts in my fort.

Started new games with DF 0.31.12 Windows SDL, no changes to any files. Brand new worlds, so the only thing visible is above the surface, except for a narrow corridor mined out. Got a Bookkeeper going at the start, with 100% accurate lists. While the meat mentioned was not on the inaccessible/forbidden list, cave spider silk threads and giant cave spider silk threads several z-levels down were listed

The silk threads was successfully duplicated three times. The forbidden meat mentioned appeared on the third reproduction.

NOTE: Forts were specifically to check the bug. The amount of time that elapsed in-game is less than a week for each fort. It would also appear that more/different items are added to the list as the game progresses. Some items in the stocks list are not listed as forbidden but do belong to cavern dwellers.

I've fixed the wealth count and hidden items on the stock screen issues, but I'm going to leave it open until I get through more of the child issues which might be resolved.
