Tulon Zatlogem's corpse (and, more relevantly, his stuff) is located in a lazy overlap of your alert burrow outside the fortress. Your dwarves are running outside to loot his corpse (er, "Pickup Equipment" on some fine pre-owned clothing). They aren't constrained to only alert-burrow tiles, choosing instead to cross a battlefield to reach the accidental enclave you created. I believe this behavior differs somewhat from previous versions (where civilian alerts were a special circumstance that did limit egress from burrows), but it isn't immediately clear if the change was intentional. |
