Summary0010283: Outpost liaison wagons say "bypass inaccessible site" but then access it fine
DescriptionTrade Depot about 6 Z Levels down, seems to be a 3 tile wide path down.

Liaison arrives, and the "Their Wagons bypass you inacessible site" message displays.

But wagons succesfully get to the Depot. So bug/issue seems to be the message rather than the behaviour.

There are a couple of possible "legal" causes:
- There was a path (used by wagons in the past), but it has been blocked by the maturation of a tree.
- The trade depot is accessible from the edge as such, but not the location along the edge at which the caravan spawned (can at least happen when you cross a stream to set up you trade depot on the other side compared to the one at which the embark wagon appeared on.

Please verify with the D (upper case) command that the trade depot is actually available from where the caravan entered.

I suspect it is the 2nd one, but I still think it is technically a bug...what the message says is not accurate for what occurs: the wagons do NOT bypass my inaccessible site, they in fact go quite happily to my perfectly accessible site.

Does your caravan route include floor hatches? They are known to temporarily invalidate the route whenever a dwarf opens them to pass through.

I suspect you could receive some wagons and the bypass message if the route was invalidated before one of the later wagons spawned, cancelling all further wagons but not despawning those already dispatched. (So yes, one or more wagons likely did bypass your site even though some of the wagons appeared and traded successfully.) I don't really see an elegant way to handle that situation: you want to notify the player that the route is problematic, but separate "A wagon has bypassed your site" messages for each wagon would be quite redundant for much more common route problems.
