| Description | I sent a squad off to raid a goblin fortress. They have been gone for many years now. On the military interface it says (travelling) next to all of their names, and I can't delete the squad or replace the members, but when I press equip, it shows all slots in their squad as 'VACANT'. I have received no report of the raid and when I look at the location they're supposed to be raiding on the 'world' screen it says they're on their way to it, and there's no option to rescue anyone or anything like that. One of the raiders is my broker. In the nobles screen he shows up, again with (travelling) after his name, and I cannot remove or replace him from this position. When I press 'q' over my Trade Depot however it says I do not have a broker. Are they alive or dead? Do they exist or not? I just don't know :( | ||||

They've finally turned up! But it does seem strange that they were gone for so long (usually they come back much more quickly than this) and that on various screens they appeared to exist or not exist. Is it a bug that you can't swap out a noble when they're travelling? |

Can you upload a save to DFFD ( http://dffd.bay12games.com/ ) while the squad was missing for investigation? |

@Loci Fortuitously, I'm having this exact issue on my current fort and have a save. Sent two squads to raid a >10 pop goblin town two days away; one has completely disappeared from the mission screen but not my squad menu, the other is considered still traveling six months later. > http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=14044 |

Thank you for the save. The squads certainly appear to be in a confused state; hopefully Toady can figure out what caused it. |
