DescriptionThe wiki says multiple depots are not good, but what happened to me isn't what is described there.
Essentially, I've quickly built a second depot outside after discovering traps & boulders were on the way to my first one. IIRC, first trading went well. Then had forgot to remove this second depot, after having cleared the path to the first one. Later, the second merchants arrived and simply dumped all of their goods into the second depot and left the map. It happened a third time.

Hi, yes, please upload your save (zipped save folder) to http://dffd.bay12games.com/ and post a link to it here so others can have a look. I guess a save from just before caravan arrival would be the best so that one can observe both the dumping of goods and leaving.

Are those goods then listed as yours or are they still owned by merchants, similar to 0009594, "Merchants die/get frightened/flee, dump trade goods, but still own them (shows on stocks screen, can't interact with)"?

The problems with multiple depots were reported at 0000466 though I haven't noticed somebody reporting your specific situation.

From the save, a wagon gets "stuck" in the first depot before unloading, then scuttles a bit later.

Re-emerged on 44.12, merchants arrive to my depots through my wagon access trap corridor and the first wagon into my first accessible depots stalls the rest and eventually all of them pile in drop contents and leave the map immediately.

Its getting a bit awkward now after thinking it was a one off thing with the human caravan that came, everything is forbidden but nothing is claimed by the merchants. I am unsure without waiting for the next (if any) arrival whether there is any consequence or this is a exploit for free-stuff.

Edit- I found the wagon wood after, it seems one of the wagons collided on the way there
